The Guo Lab is pleased to announce the promotion of Dr. Yue Cai from Assistant Investigator to Associate Investigator, recognizing her outstanding contributions to neuroimaging research and Alzheimer's disease studies.

Dr. Cai has been an invaluable member of our team since 2021. Her pioneering work focuses on:

● Investigating spatial-temporal patterns of tau pathology in Alzheimer's disease using both MRI and PET imaging modalities.

● Translating her 5-year expertise in functional neuroimaging to clinical applications in Alzheimer's disease.

     "Dr. Cai represents the perfect synergy of academic excellence and technical innovation," said Dr. Tengfei Guo. "Her unique background - combining PhD training in fMRI applications for premature infants with 4 years of industry experience at Neusoft Medical - brings invaluable perspective to our neurodegenerative disease research."

      During her tenure as Assistant Researcher, Dr. Cai:

● Published 4 high-impact papers in top-tier journals

● Developed 3 novel analytical pipelines for neuroimaging data

● Secured 1 competitive grants/funding awards

     In her new role, Dr. Cai will lead the lab's neuroimaging methodology development and mentor junior researchers while continuing her investigations into early biomarkers of neurodegeneration.
