Yue Cai is a Assistant Researcher in Dr. Guo's lab and mainly focuses on the investigating spatial and temporal patterns of tau tangles using PET imaging and MRI imaging in different stages of Alzheimer's disease. Yue Cai has received 5-year training on functional MRI (fMRI) and use this technique to investigate early brain functional changes in premature infants. Also, she did some work on resting-state fMRI methodologic innovations where she proposed an index named global functional connectivity stability (GFCS) to quantify brain functional connectivity dynamics. After graduating, Yue Cai has worked in Neusoft Medical Incorporation for 4 years and was in charge of fMRI related techniques development. With accumulations from Ph.D. and industry, Yue Cai hopes to use these skills in future scientific research.
