Rong's undergraduate work centered on the impact of intolerance of uncertainty on mental health in general population, alongside theoretical study and practical experience in intervention for autistic children. At the graduate level, she explored cognitive differences in high-functioning autistic individuals, investigating how trait impression formation from voice stimuli differs between groups. Currently, she is shifting her research interests toward the aging population, with a particular focus on assessing cognitive decline and developing skills in cognitive evaluation for older adults.
