Dr. Xiang Fan received her PhD training in The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is currently an attending doctor in Peking University Shenzhen Hospital.
As a junior Principal Investigator, she initiated and is building a multimodal research cohort at the hospital, and has co-supervised nine graduate trainees (one PhD candidate and eight master’s students).
Under her leadership, the locally established longitudinal Shenzhen mulTimodal Aging Research (STAR) cohort has grown to 600+ participants. The STAR cohort is comprehensive, encompassing neuropsychological assessments, multimodal imaging, biometrics, and blood-based biomarkers.
