Hao Li is a visiting postdoctoral researcher in the laboratory of Dr. Tengfei Guo at the Institute of Shenzhen Bay Laboratory (SZBL), China. He received his PhD in Medical Science from Radboud University Medical Center (Radboudumc), Nijmegen, the Netherlands, in 2025. During his doctoral training, his research focused on the neuroimaging of cerebral small vessel disease, particularly using diffusion MRI and quantitative MRI (qMRI) techniques.
Prior to his PhD, he completed a Master's program in Neurology along with neurology residency training at the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, China. He received his Bachelor's degree in Medicine from Xiangya School of Medicine, Central South University, China.
Since February 2026, he has been working in Dr. Guo's group at SZBL as a visiting researcher, supported by the Alzheimer Nederland InterAct Grant. His project focuses on white matter hyperintensities in both Alzheimer's disease and cerebral small vessel disease.
