Xiaoyue completed her undergraduate and master's studies at Northwest A&F University, where she systematically researched methods and applications for predicting the activity of natural products based on the metabolomes of Caenorhabditis elegans and zebrafish. Her work focused on discovering bioactive natural lead compounds for glucose metabolism disorders and neurodegenerative diseases. She is currently a joint phd student in the SMART Program.

At Guo’s Lab, she aims to further integrate clinical data with disease mechanisms to deeply investigate neurological disorders and identify new therapeutic targets or disease intervention strategies.
